On Friday evening, a high-speed tractor-trailer collided with a vehicle in Muzaffarpur district, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including a woman, and leaving three others injured, according to police reports.
The incident occurred near Darahi Patti village within the jurisdiction of the Minapur police station. The deceased have been identified as Binda Sahani, Nandu Sahani, Chandeshwar Sahani, and Beauty Kumari.
Following the crash, the driver of the tractor-trailer fled the scene. Authorities reported that the injured individuals are receiving treatment at a local hospital and are currently in stable condition. The victims were traveling in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed his condolences regarding the tragic loss of life.
